Duramax Marine, LLC, an employee-owned global manufacturer of products for the commercial marine industry as well as a variety of industrial applications, has an immediate opening for a Director of Sales to lead its domestic and international sales function. This position reports to the President & CEO of the company and is a key member of the senior leadership team.

As a key member of the senior leadership team, the Director of Sales leads the domestic and international sales team in developing and implementing an overall sales strategy, policies and procedures that yields a sustainable competitive advantage that is consistent with the company’s strategic plan.
This includes hiring, training, directing, motivating, evaluating and rewarding a multi-location sales team to effectively serve customers around the world. This position also manages the company’s rep/distributor network to maximize its effectiveness in meeting the company’s strategic objectives; and plays a lead role in developing and maintaining relationships with major customers and new target accounts.
The successful candidate needs to have:
A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required. An MBA or other related advanced degree is preferred
A minimum of ten years of sales experience in the industrial marine (or a directly related) industry
Direct successful experience selling related products in international markets
Previously successfully managed a sales function
A strong customer orientation and is able to effectively communicate, build relationships, present ideas, and lead people to meet customer needs and achieve sales objectives
