Currently we have an opening within our OEM Sales Department for an OEM Sales Representative over our Mid-West US territory.
This position will achieve assigned sales goals through the solicitation of assigned accounts and new customers. The person filling this position must be adaptable to ever changing business environments and departmental need changes as well as inter departmental, general business and customer communication and confidentiality. This position is a non-exempt hourly position and will report directly to the Sales and Services Director.
The Primary Duties and Responsibilities for this position are:

Develop annual sales plans to achieve and exceed company sales growth goals
Identify and qualify target customers and prospects in assigned region\market
Meet with accounts and prospects to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders and new business.
Customize and deliver sales presentations, promotional materials, catalogs, and other marketing information to customers and prospects
Collect the required information to fulfill RFI/RFP/RFQ requests.
Follow-up on quotations (by phone, email, or in person) on quotations submitted to customers and prospects
Provide on-going sales support to customers to ensure products and service levels are meeting and exceeding expectations.
Complete and maintain the setup of new customers, parts, and pricing.
Conduct monthly\quarterly key account reviews.
Build awareness of company brand, product line, value proposition, and capabilities in assigned territory with prospects and accounts
Build, develop, and maintain good professional relationships with key customer personnel (i.e. purchasing agents, engineers, production managers, etc.)
Submit weekly activity\call report concerning customer visits, quotes, orders, opportunities, and problems concerning customer and prospect relationships
Record all sales activity and customer contact information in CRM system
Provide a territory sales forecast on a monthly basis
Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales.
Continue to develop and maintain product knowledge on current and new products
Provide product education to customers and prospects
Attend company sponsored trade shows and assist in new product introductions and demos.
5+ Years Prior Business to Business Sales Experience Required
Candidates with experience in the Marine Industry preferred
Solutions provider who can overcome challenging customer situations and resolve customer problems in a win-win style.
Familiarity with hardware, technical products, and manufacturing processes and jargon a plus.
Strong organizational, time management, verbal, and written communication skills.
Effective interpersonal, presentation, and objection handling skills.
Prior experience with Microsoft Office, ERP and CRM systems a plus.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
