This position will be responsible for supporting the after-sale of Lewmar products by offering exceptional customer service on all levels of technical support and displaying a patient, advisory manner throughout. This role will offer solid solutions and suggestions to all customers’ inquiries with clarity, both internally and externally. A positive attitude is required at all times.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Provide first level support to customers, resolving issues and explaining best solutions.
Attract potential customer sales by answering product questions and suggesting information about other products and services
Provides accurate pricing and delivery information
Provide efficient and effective quality control and technical support to team members
Responsible for Product Return Process and Warranty Claims
Maintain a working knowledge of technical components of the Lewmar product line
Make recommendations to management where and when appropriate, as part of continuous improvement
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Some travel may be required
Perform other required duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS and SKILLS:
Minimum of College Degree or 5 years experience in a Technical Support role
Exceptional Customer Service & Problem Solving skills
Detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated and excellent communication skills
Strong attention to detail / high level of accuracy
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Boating Industry and Marine Electrical experience preferred
Axapta experience preferred but not required
