Full Time Technical Service Manager position immediately available at GROCO
This job is combination of working with customers to help with product and installation questions, working with the manufacturing team to help develop work instructions and process documentation, and working with engineering on the development and prototyping of new products.
The Technical Service Manager position has a high level of autonomy which requires applicants be self driven and have a strong wort ethic.
Technical Service Manager Position skill set requirements:
* Basic to Intermediate Microsoft Suite knowledge, comfortable working with:
* Background in the Boating industry. Intermediate to advanced common knowledge of electrical and fluid movement systems aboard most common vessels.
Be able to diagnose and/or troubleshoot customer problems over the phone.
The Following Electrical Skills are Preferred but not required
* Basic Chip/PC Board Programming Skills:
Installing software onto PC Boards and microchips using Windows based programs.
* Intermediate to Advanced Electrical Knowledge
AC power (110V/220V)
DC Power (12V/24V)
Product testing, diagnosing/troubleshooting and repairs.
* Electrical Requirements:
Intermediate to Advanced Soldering Skills
Terminating 22,24,26 AWG wire (Molex crimping)
Basic PC Board functions / Understanding electrical components
Wiring Schematic knowledge
Volt/Ohm Meter and Oscilloscope skills
Good skills working with smaller (but not microscopic) electrical components.
