We are looking for an experienced Production Manager for our Pontoon Boat Factory in Americas GA to manage production, drive continuous improvement and optimize all processes. The ideal candidate will be an energetic, hands on, take charge, individual with boat plant and or strong assembly experience.
This job is located in Americus, GA. We will offer relocation expenses to the right candidate.
General Duties:
The Production Manager will oversee all daily operations of the plant from production and manufacturing to ensuring policies and procedures are followed. They develop processes that will maximize stewardship, safety, quality and productivity.
Responsibilities
*Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations *Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping *Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results *Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions *Share a trusting relationship with work group and recruit, manage and develop plant staff *Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets
Requirements *Boat factory production experience preferred * Ability to handle international 3rd party vendor and supplier relationships *Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise *Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory and stewardship processes *Strong computer literacy *Ability to create accountability and to lead by example *Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills *Availability to be onsite 45 hours, with 24/7 phone availability *Must be high energy and goal focused
